Visa is a Visa of the Republic of Indonesia, hereinafter referred to as a Visa, is a written statement, both manually and electronically, which is given by an authorized official to travel to the Indonesian Territory and becomes the basis for granting a Stay Permit;

Visit Stay Permit, hereinafter referred to as Pre-Investment Limited Stay Permit, is a limited Stay Permit not for the purpose of working which is given to foreigners and/or their families to live in Indonesian territory for 5 (five) years or 10 (ten) years after fulfilling certain conditions;

Immigration Guarantee is an amount of funds or property owned by a foreigner and is recognized as proof of having immigration guarantee.

A tourist visit visa is given to foreigners to travel to Indonesia in one trip and is given a visit stay permit for 60 (sixty) days from the time the entry permit is granted;

Tourist Visit Visa can only be used for one trip;

A Tourist Visit Visa can be used for visiting certain places for recreational purposes, personal development, or studying the uniqueness of tourist attractions within a certain period of time including health tourism and yachting;

The applicant applies for a tourist visit visa through the application by filling in the data fields correctly, uploading the required documents in full, making payments and getting a tourist visit visa electronically which is sent via registered email and as an alternative to a pre-investment visa can also be downloaded via the visa app;

Tourist visit visas can be kept in soft copy and shown to immigration officials via tablet PCs, smartphones, etc., or printed (hard copy);

Is given an entry sign, which also serves as a residence permit for a visit;

As with other visas, Immigration Officers at airports or seaports or traditional crossings have the right to refuse the arrival of foreigners holding pre-investment visas without any explanation.

A Pre-Investment visit visa is given to foreigners to travel to Indonesia in one trip and is granted a visit stay permit for a maximum of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the time the entry permit is granted.

Pre-Investment Visit Visa is divided into several categories, including:
  1. One-time pre-investment visit visa is given a length of stay of 60 days and cannot be extended or transferred;
  2. One-time pre-investment visit visa is given a length of stay of 180 days and cannot be extended or transferred;
  3. Visit visa for several pre-investment tripscan be given to Foreigners to stay in Indonesian Territory no later than 60 (sixty) days from the date of issuance of Entry Stamp for each arrival;
  4. A visit visa for several trips in the context of pre-investment using Immigration guarantees can be given to Foreigners for a maximum stay of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the date of issuance of the Entry Stamp for each arrival.
A visit visa for several trips is given to foreigners with a maximum visa validity of 5 (five) years;

Pre-Investment Visit Visa can be used to carry out activities in the context of starting a new business such as field surveys and/or feasibility studies.

Access the official website of the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights through https://molina.imigrasi.go.id, select “Pre-Investment Visit Visa”, Before applying for a Pre-Investment Visit Visa, you must create an account with the following steps: In Main Page, select login and a new page appears for login. Please select register Note: each applicant must have an account that has been activated. Steps of user registration and activation which are as follows: 1) Fill out the form according to the fields and upload the document; 2) Once complete, please send the registration and the application will display an information pop up containing that the activation link and activation button have been sent to the email address that was registered or please check spam mail; 3) Receive an email activation link and activation button; 4) Please activate the account by selecting and pressing the "activate button" or pressing the activation address link; 5) Activation was successful.
  2. After the account is active, please submit an application by entering the username in the form of the email address that was registered and entering the password then filling in the captcha correctly. You can apply for a pre-investment visit visa by selecting the Pre-investment visit visa icon, make an application;
  3. Fill in the fields completely and correctly which are as follows
    • personal information;
    • guarantor information;
    • passport information;
    • arrival information;
    • residence information;
  4. Upload Requirements Document
  5. Payment; and
  6. After completing the "payment confirmation" page, you must proceed with payment within 120 minutes. Otherwise, the system won't accept the payment, and you'll need to make a new request.
    Notes:
    You can only make payments with Mastercard, Visa, and JCB credit cards. The card does not have to be in your name. Please ensure that your card has a “3D Secure System” and is open for international transactions;
  7. After completing the payment process, in a few moments your pre-investment visa will appear in your account and can be downloaded.
    Suggestion:
    please save your pre-investment visa softcopy (email, tablet, smartphone, or other) or hardcopy in case of failure in the system;
  8. If you forget your password, please use the "Forgot Password (Lupa Kata Sandi)" feature.
    Information:

  1. The main requirements are as follows:
    1. National passport valid and still valid for at least 12 (twelve) months;
    2. Letter of guarantee from the Guarantor except for visits in the context of tourism;
    3. Proof of having living expenses for himself and/or his family while in the Indonesian Territory, a checking account, savings book, or time deposit for the last 3 (three) months belonging to the Foreigner concerned or Guarantor with a minimum amount of USD 2000 (two thousand US dollars) or equivalent;
    4. Curriculum Vitae (CV);
    5. Business or investment executive summary to be built in Indonesia;
    6. Return ticket or onward ticket to continue the journey to another country except for the crew of the Conveyance who will stop by to join the ship and continue the journey to another country; and
    7. Recent color photograph.
  2. Additional requirements during the covid 19 pandemic, as follows:
    1. Statement letter willing to comply with all applicable health protocols in Indonesia;
    2. Evidence of having received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine;
    3. Proof of ownership of health insurance/travel insurance which includes health financing, and/or a statement of willingness to pay independently if affected by COVID-19 while in Indonesian Territory

Terms and conditions:
  1. Passport photos:
    • white background;

If your passport is less than 12 months old, you cannot apply for a pre-investment visit visa and please extend the validity period of your passport.

No. Second home visa payments can only be paid using a credit card (with the Mastercard, Visa or JCB logo). Notes: please note that the card does not have to be in your name.

Make sure that the card is a "Mastercard", "Visa" or "JCB" (it does nott have to be in your name), has a 3D Security System, and is open to international transactions. If your card has any of these and you still cannot make a payment, you can try making a payment at a later time or with a different card.
