Visitor Visa is a single-entry visa valid for 30-day stay in Indonesia with the purpose of Tourism, Government visits, Business Meetings, Goods Purchasing, or Transit only.

Visitor Visa is an alternative to visas issued electronically via e-VISA Application, visa on arrival at the port of entry, and visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.

Applicants obtain their Visitor Visa electronically after entering required information and making payments by a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or JCB).

The link to download your Visitor Visa is given on the final step, where you will be informed that your request has been completed successfully. In addition, the same link to download your Visitor Visa will be e-mailed to you.

Alternatives: You can download Visitor Visa via the “Application” menu in the Visitor Visa Application.

Immigration officers at port of entry can verify your Visitor Visa on their system. However, you are advised to keep your Visitor Visa either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smartphone, etc.) or a hard copy if there is any failure on their system.

As in the case of other visas, the Immigration Officer at the entry ports reserves the right to deny access to Indonesia to an Visitor Visa holder without any explanation.

Documents needed to prepare Visitor Visa request are:
a. Full biodata page of passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of your arrival
to Indonesia (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);
b. Passport size photograph (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);
c. Email address;
d. A valid Mastercard, Visa, or JCB credit card.

An Visitor Visa can be obtained easily anywhere with an internet connection. It saves time you would otherwise spend on e-VISA Application, visa on arrival at the port of entry, visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate (if you are eligible).

Issuance of Visitor Visa does not guarantee entry to Indonesia. Visitor Visa simply indicates that the individual is eligible to seek entry for a specific purpose. The decision of entry remains the right of the respective Immigration Officer at the port of entry.

Under Article 22 (1) b Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 44 of 2015, foreigners who wish to enter Indonesia must hold a passport with an expiration date at least 6 (six) months from the date of arrival. You are advised to have the return ticket printed.

Immigration Officer reserves the right to ask for your return ticket at entry.

You must apply new Visitor Visa application. We cannot refund payments for error in visa application.

According to Article 106 Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 44 of 2015, Immigration Officer at the ports of entry reserves the right to deny entry into Indonesia to a foreigner who provide incorrect information in the visa request.

No. The validity period of your Visitor Visa begins from the date specified in your application. You can enter Indonesia on any date within this period.

The Republic of Indonesia does not sell, rent, or otherwise use for commercial purposes any personal information entered in the Visitor Visa Application System to third parties.

The applicant bears full responsibility for the safety of the soft and hard copies of the Visitor Visa.
Any information obtained at each request stage and the Visitor Visa issued at the end of the process is stored in secure systems. The applicant bears full responsibility for this information again should it fall into the hands of third parties.

The barcode on the Visitor Visa stores the applicant’s information in an encrypted and electronically signed form designated by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and the Human Rights Republic of Indonesia.

Access to the barcode’s content is solely provided to the institutions authorized by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and the Human Rights Republic of Indonesia. The applicant bears full responsibility for any inconvenience that may result from barcode alterations or forgery caused by the applicant.

Yes. Each traveler must have a separate Visitor Visa.

No. Visitor Visa is only for single entry. If you wish to obtain a multiple entry visa, you can apply for a multiple entry visa via e-VISA Application.

No, your Visitor Visa is invalid. You must obtain another Visitor Visa.

If you wish to stay in Indonesia longer than your Visitor Visa permits, you must apply for a residence permit extension at the Immigration Office.

Please note that an Visitor Visa is granted only for Tourism, Government visits, Business Meetings, Goods Purchasing, or Transit purposes. Request for other visa types is required to submit an e-VISA Application.

If you overstay your visa, you might be asked to pay fines of IDR 1,000,000 per day, detained, deported, or banned future travel to Indonesia for a specific period.

Yes. If you are a citizen of one of the countries listed below and you meet the required criteria, you can obtain a visa on arrival at the port of entry. Kindly visit www.imigrasi.go.id to learn more about these requirements.

For now, Visitor Visa is only available at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Ngurah Rai Airport. If you land not at that port of entry, you can apply for another type of visa (e-VISA Application, visa on arrival at the port of entry, visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate).

Visitor Visa fee is IDR 500,000.

Visitor Visa is valid for 90 days. The validity period of your Visitor Visa is different than the duration of your stay. The stay of Visitor Visa holder is 30 days from the arrival date.

No. You do not have to get a visa if you are not going to leave the international transit area.
